SUMMARY:The 9th International Conference on Correlation Optics,“Corr
 elation Optics’09”
DESCRIPTION:The purpose of the conference is to provide a discussion o
f novel approaches and advances connected with\noptical correlation te
chniques for measurements of random optical fields, and object diagnos
tics in diverse\napplications. Optical correlation techniques (includi
 ng regular and polarization interferometry,\ninterference/diffraction
microscopy, specklometry, holographic correlometry, fractal optics, an
d measurement\nof optical chaos and optical singularities) constitute
promising and quickly developed area of optical\ninformation technolog
 y. Such techniques serve for solving diverse applied problems ranging
from industrial\nquality control to modern telecommunications and life
sciences. There are no any conferences at present\nfocused just at th
e optical correlation approaches (theoretical, computing and experimen
tal). That is why this\nconference will be the unique possibility to h
ighlight novel concepts and developments related to the optical\ncorre
lation data processing and to discuss recent progress in applications
of them. This conference\ncontinues the chain of international confere
 nces on Correlation Optics (1993, 1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2003,\n2005
 and 2007; SPIE Proc. Vols. 2108, 2647, 3317, 3904, 4607, 5477, 6254 an
 d 7008, respectively) in\nChernivtsi.\nTopics to be covered:\n• Info
rmative content of statistical optical fields, including optical chaos
and singular optics, polarization\noptics, coherence\n• Optical cor
relation devices based on diffractive optical elements, including opti
cal and digital holography,\nfractal optics, optical sensors\n• Opti
cal correlation diagnostics, interferometry and microscopy of rough su
rfaces and random media\n• New applications of correlation optics in
biology and medicine\nConference Chair: Prof O.V. Angelsky (UKRAINE)\
n\nThe official language of the Conference is English.\nAll sessions a
re held at the Conference Hall of the Hotel “Cheremosch”. The Conf
erence Hall will be\nequipped with slide and overhead projectors.\nThe
registration desk will be open during 9.00 a.m. – 6.00 p.m. from Se
ptember 20 to September 23,\n2009 in the lobby near entrance of the Ho
tel “Cheremosch”. Pre-registration fee (before August 20, 2009) is
\nUS$400, and late registration fee is US$450; registration fee for ac
companying persons is US$250.\nRegistration fees include: participatio
n in all scientific sessions at the Conference; all printed materials
of the\nConference including the SPIE Proc. Volume (after its publishi
ng); meals, conference dinner, coffee-breaks\nat sessions, and the mai
n excursion programme. The participants of the Conference should be aw
are that a\nhotel accomodation is not included into registration fees.
Hotel reservation will be made according to\nparticipant’s arrival
and departure plans. A list of preliminary prices for proposed hotels
is given below.\n\nЗа додатковою інформацією в
